Have the opportunity to be part of Footscray's first ever female soccer team. Joining the Footscray Ranger's Womens Team provides a great social environment where you can make new friends, join a welcoming community of like-minded individuals and improve your skills and fitness.

FOOTSCRAYS FIRST LADIES

In 2024 we were exceedingly proud to launch not one, but two Womens State League 5 teams. Our women played great football considering it was their first time together, coming in leaps and bounds with players coming from different sporting backgrounds, including hockey, soccer and AFL.

Our Womens squads have breathed new life into our club, providing incredible highlights and adding much to the overall community.

McCormack Property Services: We are proud to partner with McCormack Property Services officially in 2024, as our major Womens squad sponsor. McCormack are an innovative architectural firm that align best practises with their vision for sustainable design solutions. Their support of our Rangers Refugee Bursary and our Womens team has allowed for many players the opportunity to play who could not otherwise afford it, so we’re very thankful for Bella and the wider team at McCormacks support. Footscray in the past century, has never had a named Womens football team. While having a rich history with Mens teams, the opportunity has never existed for Women to represent Footscray in this way.

Until now.

Mixing our social focus on developing lifelong friendships and our skills, we envisage that our team will be hard to beat in State League 5 with excellent team chemistry and ever-improving skills.

Whether you're a seasoned veteran, or new to the game we'd love for you to meet the team and join us on the pitch!

Our Go Soccer Program is great for newbies who are looking for social connection and some fitness.

Our Womens Go Soccer Program is aimed at individuals who are very new to the game, or who are at a stage in their life where social football is the focus.

Our Go Soccer Program is geared towards supporting Women who don't intend to play football on weekends, and are focused on the development of their fitness, skills and games-sense in a training environment.

Our Go Family Football program brings together Women, Men and Children from families so that everyone can keep fit together, playing fun games and making new lifelong memories.

Victoria University students benefit from our community partnership with Victoria University as their Football Club of choice for Women players, with a 30% discount on registration fees (which includes kit, insurance and coaching)
