The Club are so proud of our Senior Men's Division 8 North-West team for securing their maiden Football Victoria title. Led by coach Bill Theocharides and captains Patrick Dwyer and Frazer Gentle, the team has achieved outstanding success.
"This is just the beginning"
Coach Bill is proud of his playing group, after achieving the first title in his storied career as a head coach. Bill stated that he was proud of his players for the way they conducted themselves each week not only on game day, but even more importantly, in training. "I have taught them what I know about the game, and now it is up to the boys each week to continue to learn, correct mistakes and get better every week".
The boys were the top scorers in the league this season, notching over 70 goals.
We also had the meanest defence, conceding single digit goals to ensure that our attack had an outstanding basis to build from.
