RANGERS AWARDED 2024 COMMUNITY INCLUSION AWARD & 2 STAR CLUB CHANGER STATUS

The Rangers are excited to share that our club application for admission State League Men’s 5 has been submitted, and is now subject to review by Football Victoria. This represents a significant step in the clubs growth as an organisation, where we have sought to offer both a Women and Men’s team in the elite football pyramid.
Additionally, we are excited to announce Jason Phelan, the former Docklands Athletic FC and Meadow Park FC State League coach has joined as our new Senior Mens coach, to lead our charge into a new era of Football at Footscray.

Jason replaces departing coach Bill Theocharides, who the club extends our deepest gratitude and indebtedness to him, for the success and fond memories he has brought the club since working with us since 2020. Bill retains his place in our club Hall of Fame, having achieved the ultimate success of promotion and winning the South-East v North-West Division 7 grandfinal in 2023.
Pre-season training for our mens Senior Mens squad will begin on Wednesday 20 November, 7.00pm at Robert Barrett Reserve, Maribyrnong.
